As our Commercial Development Manager (National) you will play a pivotal role in the development of our new Holiday Lodges division. Our aim is to extend our model of outstanding service and performance to a new audience of professional operators in the Holiday Lodge space.
Service and Quality really are at the heart of all we do. Your detailed knowledge of the sector and personal relationship skills will establish trust and credibility in the market. You will have a passion for people and travel. Nationwide UK travel with overnight stays will be an important part of the role and personal contact and visits are at the heart of our approach to service.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing B2B relationships with Owners/Operators of lodge park developments.. We seek to build long lasting relationships with our Owners. We are straight-talking and never over promise. want to bring on board the right owners with the right properties meaning we can make a really valuable contribution to their business.
What will I be doing?
- Strategic planning: We are great believers in the Sales funnel and you will adopt a strategic approach to the creation and management of your sales pipeline from lead generation to appointments, follow-ups through to sign-up
- Business Development: Using your own knowledge of the market and personal contacts, seek out opportunities for new business. Self-generated leads will be key to success
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain B2B partnerships that will generate leads and referrals as well as fostering a positive view of Travel Chapter within the sector
- Sales Management: Oversee the sales process from lead creation to contract agreement and then through to ‘Go Live’
- Relationship Management: Patience will be key as some relationships will take time to nurture and move through the sales funnel from initial contact through to development.
- Performance Reporting and Management: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness against targets
- Problem Resolution: You will be a good problem solver and will be skilled at time management and prioritisation of tasks

Ideally, we’re looking for:
- A highly motivated and results driven sales professional looking to take the next step in their career
- Proven track record in a similar role with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Established network of professional contacts with the UK lodges and parks industry
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills with the confidence to deal with business owners and operators
- Quality is key! Travel Chapter has built its reputation on the quality of the portfolio. Knowing when to say ‘no’ is as important as when to say ‘yes’
- The ability to work well under pressure with strong time-management skills
- Self-motivated and at ease working alone or as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and an attention to detail
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Experience using Salesforce would be an advantage
- Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have a full driving licence as extensive UK travel will be required including overnight stays
