Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

We’re looking for a Property Management Support colleague to support our Property Management operation across the Ambleside region on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2026. This hands-on role has a strong focus on property standards, maintenance coordination and compliance. You’ll work closely with homeowners, housekeepers and contractors to ensure properties remain well-maintained, compliant and ready for every stay.

What you’ll be doing
Supporting daily property operations
Supporting the smooth running of the local Property Management operation
Managing and logging emails and phone calls, ensuring information is shared with the right teams
Completing data checks, basic reporting and spreadsheet updates
Supporting invoice processing and owner charges, liaising with internal teams where required
Taking ownership of allocated daily operational tasks
Supporting Health & Safety processes and compliance standards
Maintenance and compliance coordination
Arranging and coordinating reactive and planned maintenance works
Liaising with contractors to schedule jobs, access properties and track completion
Supporting annual compliance checks, including gas safety, electrical testing and other statutory requirements
Tracking certification renewal dates and ensuring documentation is in place and up to date
Escalating risks, delays or compliance gaps to the wider Property Management team
Owner experience
Building positive, trusted relationships with homeowners
Responding to owner queries and requests around property care, maintenance and compliance
Ensuring all owner communication is clearly logged on internal systems
Supporting proactive communication that contributes to owner satisfaction and retention
Contractor and housekeeper support
Acting as a key point of contact for housekeepers and local contractors
Supporting the coordination and communication of maintenance tasks, schedules and property updates
Helping develop and maintain a reliable local contractor network
Sharing relevant booking and changeover information with housekeepers
Property checks and standards
Completing in-property checks and audits
Supporting onboarding, spot checks and ongoing standards for housekeepers
Helping maintain consistent cleanliness, safety and presentation standards across the property portfolio
Supplies, stock and linen support (where applicable)
Supporting the management and distribution of property supplies
Monitoring stock levels and highlighting replenishment needs
Preparing linen for changeover days
Keeping laundry areas clean, organised and well maintained
Monitoring linen quality and consumable usage
On-call support (rota based)
Participating in an on-call rota to support urgent property or operational issues outside of standard working hours
Responding to issues calmly and professionally, escalating where required in line with agreed processes
What you’ll bring
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A practical, solutions-focused mindset
Confidence coordinating maintenance, compliance and reactive issues
Willingness to participate in an on-call rota as part of a wider team
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and use initiative
Property, facilities or operational experience (holiday letting experience desirable)
Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment
